The APAO Care Emergency Benevolent Fund was established by APAO to support the family of an APAO member employee who suffers a fatal accident while working in the line of duty. APAO Care was modeled after a similar National Asphalt Pavement Association program. Although no amount of money can replace a life, APAO Care seeks to provide immediate cash to help families with short-term expenses when dealing with a tragedy involving someone who is often the primary source of income for the family.
